(1) High temperature disinfection (sunlight/steam)

Sunlight exposure: In summer, the soil is deeply plowed and spread flat, covered with transparent plastic film, and exposed to strong light and high temperature (up to 50 ℃ or above) for 2-4 weeks to kill some bacteria through high temperature.

Steam disinfection: In facility cultivation, steam pipes can be used to enter the soil and maintain a temperature of 70-80 ℃ for more than 30 minutes, suitable for disinfection of small areas or seedling substrates.

(2)Soil deep plowing and crop rotation

Deep plowing of soil (over 30cm), turning the surface layer of contaminated soil to a deeper layer to reduce the concentration of surface bacteria; Crop rotation with non host crops (such as cruciferous and gramineous crops) is recommended to avoid bacterial accumulation caused by continuous cropping. The recommended rotation period is 2-3 years or more

2. Seedbed Preparation: Thoroughly water the seedbed with bottom water to a depth of 10cm. After water seeps in, spread a thin layer of nutrient soil to level the bed surface, then evenly scatter the seeds.

3. Soil Coverage: Cover the sown seeds with 0.8–1.0cm of nutrient soil.

4. Disease Prevention: For every 667m² of seedbed, mix 8g of 50% carbendazim wettable powder or 7g of 50% mixed seed powder with fine soil, then sprinkle the mixture thinly and evenly on the bed surface to prevent damping-off disease.

5. Seedling Cultivation: We highly recommend using nutrient bowls, seedling trays, or paper bags for sowing and seedling raising to improve survival rates.
