There are certain differences in temperature requirements among different stages of tomato development.

The best temperature for the seedling stage is 20-25 degree during the day and 10-15degree at night. High or low temperature during the seedling stage can easily lead to weak seedling growth, flower bud differentiation, poor development, and a decrease in flower quality. During the flowering and fruiting period, it is easy to produce flower and fruit drop.
