• For aphids, do not use single‑agent products (e.g., imidacloprid or pymetrozine) alone, as they offer limited control. Instead, apply a compound formulation of imidacloprid and pymetrozine.
• If aphid resistance is high, consider using fipronil, which also provides control against thrips.
•  For severe thrips infestations, ethylphosphamide (Aleutide) is recommended.
