Both the main and lateral vines of this chili pepper variety can bear fruits. The main vine grows more robustly with relatively ample nutrient supply, enabling it to produce female flowers and set fruit earlier in the growth cycle. Lateral shoots, which emerge in greater numbers from leaf axils once the main vine reaches a certain stage, also possess strong fruiting capacity. In practical cultivation, taking ground-crawling cultivation as an example, the terminal bud is typically removed when the main vine has developed 6-8 leaves, encouraging lateral shoots to emerge. Two to three robust lateral shoots are retained to bear fruit. In trellis cultivation, however, some growers allow only the main vine to bear fruit, removing all other lateral shoots. The yield of this variety of chili seeds is relatively higher.
